OK wow, what a weekend!
From Friday to Sunday, Wernigerode was the centre of the German gravel world – and we didn’t just get to watch, we got to be right in the thick of it. Over 500 gravel riders, loads of community vibes, sun on our faces, dust in the spokes and simply a really good feeling.
Harz Gravel wasn’t just any event, it was the kick-off for something really big. And we’re proud to say: We’ve been partners from day one.
The whole thing was organised by the team at Time for Sports, the same people who are also putting on Heide Gravel later this year, aka the German Gravel Championship. Pretty wild, right?
For us as a young startup, it was the perfect opportunity to finally get out there, show ourselves, get talking to people and share our idea of Mountain Squad with the scene.
And how awesome was that? All of a sudden, there we were, alongside big names like Rose, Schwalbe, GripGrab and Maureten. And yes, every now and then we had to pinch ourselves.
We were especially happy that, with the Harzfeeling Kreativloft, our living room and also the home base of our creative agency Polyluchs, we were able to provide the venue for all the community activities.
Pasta party, chill-out, community rides, meetups, good drinks, great conversations and much more all came together at our place. And it was exactly the way we like it: personal, cosy, genuine.
What stays with us?
A huge thank you to everyone who was there. To Time for Sports for the stage and the trust. To our partners & supporters. And to everyone who talked, laughed and rode with us.
That was the starting signal. And we are so ready for more.
Challenge your limits. Ride your story.
